I want to be an ornithologist. I just don't want to go to school for it.
I want to draw birds and watch them fly around and I have wanted an African Grey since I read this book called Harry's Mad by Dick King-Smith back in grade school. I suppose I've always been a bit of a bird enthusiast. Since I remember laying on the grass in the back garden watching robins and crows and finches. Now I watch scrub jays, flickers, crows, and robins around the neighborhood. I am all set to buy a bird feeder and shepherd's hook, but those are awkward on the bus. And a bird bath and some houses and suet feeders... I want to watch them all day. Not an obsession, mind, but I find them both beautiful and calming.

Everything's gonna be alright.
